Knowledge Capturing

When experts leave, organisations run the risk of losing vital knowledge. One of the ways to counter this risk  is to capture the knowledge before it is too late. Intergenerational knowledge capturing is a procedure aimed at documenting specific knowledge from an expert and capturing it in a document. This procedure is especially useful if there is not enough time to apply any of the other intergenerational learning approaches like mentoring.

You can download the following documents that help to organise Intergenerational Knowledge capturing. (Please note: the tools currently available are the untested versions. Once the testing is complete – around June of 2013 – we will  replace these versions with the final ones.)
